Solventum HIMAA Event - Videography overview
This was a 2-day capture of a Healthcare event hosted in Melbourne Central. My kit was pretty beefy for an event and certainly not the norm. I had my A7S3 and Fx30 as A and B cam, I brought a Sony 24-105 and Sony 90mm for lens coverage. For lights, I brought an Amaran 100d, RGB tube and Amaran, and I had my Ronin S2 for gimbal work. For audio I was using my AT875R and a Rode Dual Wireless Go system with lavalier mics which record internally and to a Zoom F3 that runs off of V-lock power.
Most of the event was spent on the Gimbal with the A7S3 and 24-105 lens. This allows me to get smooth sweeping shots, and with some accurate balancing, the gimbal can cope with the changing weight of the lens as I zoom it in and out. The 90mm was used for the interview set ups, and I switched the 24-105 onto the FX30 for a second angle.
We were asked at the end of the first day if we could also go and capture a 1 hour seminar in another room on Day 2. I don’t have images of this but I brought my 70-300 to use as a medium follow lens and had the FX30 as a steady wide angle.
